If you like podcasts and need something new to listen to, here are three that you can add to your playlist.

If you like the True Crime genre you will find this podcast interesting. It is a six-part series with two bonus episodes that delve into the murder-suicide of a wife and her husband’s girlfriend.
I heard about this podcast on the radio last summer and was immediately interested because there is a slight connection to the college I attended, and I was familiar with the story because it was locally broadcasted.
I was so fascinated by the story and could not stop listening.
The podcast not only discusses the murder-suicide but also seeks to analyze the events that led to the tragic outcome.

Sick is an investigative podcast about what goes wrong in the medical field. This series focuses on Dr. Donald Cline, an Indiana fertility doctor who used his own sperm to impregnate his patients unknowingly. He has fathered at least 70 children. His story become national news when it broke in 2016.
Love thy Neighbor: Crown Heights
This is what I’m currently listening to.

This podcast analyzes a fatal incident that happened in August of 1991 in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Crown Heights involving two different racial and ethnic communities. Two children died and dozens of people were injured. The incident added fuel to an already tense situation between these two communities and led to four days of riots.
Through interviews, the podcast creators try to understand the history surrounding the incident, how it changed the neighborhood, and how it highlighted issues of racism within that community.
On a personal note, at the time of the events, my family lived in a Brooklyn neighborhood not too far from Crown Heights.
If you listen to either podcast, let me know below. I would love to hear your thoughts. Also, I would love to hear your suggestions for Good Listens.
